Henley Halebrown at The Gingerbread City 2023

Henley Halebrown have designed the 'Royal Fudge Festival Hall' in the Canal City zone for The Gingerbread City 2023 as part of a team with Concert and Evolve.
The annual event includes the work of more than one hundred architects, engineers and designers.
The theme of this year's The Gingerbread City organsied by The Museum of Architecture is Water in Cities. We were asked to look for innovative solutions regarding water shortage, pollustion and flooding in a range of climates and contexts. When designing our plot, we made the building flood resistant, allowing water to run freely around it and added a green roof harvesting rainwater.
