The site lies at the intersection of Moorgate (laid out by Robert Smirke in the early 19th Century) and London Wall which was dramatically redeveloped in the Sixties. The Moorgate buildings were designed by Smirke and are listed Grade II.  The scheme, commissioned by developer Epic, which retains Smirke’s façade and original shopfronts aims to elevate the commercial office building well above the norm.
