This, the first of a 2-phase scheme to regenerate the 1970s Kings Crescent Estate adjacent to Clissold Park for the London Borough of Hackney, will create 262 new homes and 101 refurbished flats of mixed tenure. No longer an inward-looking ‘estate’, the new streets are carefully integrated into the surrounding neighbourhood. The practice has teamed up with architect Karakusevic Carson and Muf Architecture/Art.
